Actifed Multi-Action Tablets for Cold and Flu Symptoms
Actifed Multi-Action Tablets contain pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and triprolidine hydrochloride. This combination provides relief from nasal congestion, runny nose and other cold and flu symptoms by unblocking the nose and reducing sneezing and a watery nose.

Who Is This Product For?
Adults and children aged 12 years and over who are suffering from colds, flu or nasal allergies with symptoms such as a blocked or runny nose, sneezing and catarrh, and who need fast, multi-symptom relief.
How to Use
Adults and children 12 years and over: take one tablet every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 4 tablets in 24 hours. Swallow tablets whole with water. Do not give to children under 12 years. Always follow the directions on the pack and the patient leaflet. Do not exceed the stated dose.
Possible Side Effects
Like all medicines, Actifed Multi-Action Tablets can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. These may include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, nausea, difficulty sleeping, rapid heartbeat or increased blood pressure. Rarely, allergic reactions such as rash, itching, swelling or breathing difficulties can occur. Stop taking the tablets and seek medical advice immediately if you notice signs of a serious reaction or any unusual symptoms.
Advisory
Do not take if you are allergic to pseudoephedrine, triprolidine or any of the other ingredients. Do not use if you have severe high blood pressure, serious heart disease, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, or if you are taking or have recently taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or certain antidepressants. Avoid alcohol and other sedating medicines while taking this product. This medicine may cause drowsiness; if affected, do not drive or operate machinery. If symptoms persist, worsen, or new symptoms appear, speak to your doctor or pharmacist. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
