Acriflex 0.25% w/w Cream is an antibacterial cream containing chlorhexidine gluconate. It is used to treat minor burns and scalds, abrasions, scratches, sunburn blisters and infected cracked skin.

How To Use
Apply to the skin as needed. For general use, apply freely and smooth gently into the affected skin. For cuts, abrasions or burns, spread freely and cover with a dressing if necessary. Do not use in body cavities such as the mouth, vagina or inner ear.
Ingredients
Active ingredient: chlorhexidine gluconate. Other ingredients include arlatone, cetostearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin, dimeticone 20, glycerol, quinoline yellow lake (E104) and purified water.
Important Warnings
Do not use if you are allergic to chlorhexidine gluconate or any other ingredient. Avoid contact with the eyes, brain, meninges and middle ear. If the cream gets into the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water and seek prompt medical advice if irritation, pain, redness or visual disturbance occurs. Ask a doctor or pharmacist for advice before use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Cetostearyl alcohol may cause local skin reactions.
Possible Side Effects
Possible side effects include allergic skin reactions such as dermatitis, itching, redness, eczema, rash, hives, irritation or blisters. Stop using Acriflex and seek immediate medical help if you develop signs of a serious allergic reaction such as swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, wheezing, difficulty breathing, faintness or collapse.
Storage
Keep out of the sight and reach of children. No special storage conditions are required. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the carton.
