Please do not travel to the pharmacy until we have confirmed that your order has been approved and prepared for collection.

Local pharmacy delivery when you need it

Where possible, eligible orders can be delivered the same day within a 1.5-mile radius during Chrystalls Pharmacy opening hours.

Same-day delivery depends on:

  • Product availability
  • Pharmacist approval
  • Successful order review
  • Delivery capacity
  • The time your order is placed

Orders placed earlier in the day are naturally more likely to be delivered the same day, but we will always try to fulfil eligible local orders as quickly as reasonably possible.

If we are unable to deliver your order the same day, we will contact you to discuss the next available delivery or collection option.

We believe safe, reliable delivery is worth doing properly.

Royal Mail Tracked 48 is an estimated delivery service. Delivery times are not guaranteed unless a guaranteed postal service has specifically been purchased.

Why Do We Charge for Delivery?

Chrystalls Connect is built around safe, convenient delivery from a real community pharmacy.

Delivering medicines involves more than simply placing a parcel in the post. There are costs involved in preparing the order, secure packaging, tracked delivery, local drivers, fuel and ensuring your medicines reach you safely.

Rather than hiding these costs within product prices, we prefer to keep our delivery charges clear and transparent.

Our Same-Day Local Delivery service is therefore always chargeable, while eligible postal orders over £40 qualify for free standard delivery.

We believe a small delivery charge is a fair trade-off for a service designed around safety, convenience and secure handover.

For customers who do not require same-day local delivery, we offer secure postal delivery using:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 with Signature
Postal delivery is currently £5.25 and is FREE on eligible orders of £40 or more.

Tracked 48 is an estimated delivery service and delivery times are not guaranteed.

Orders containing medicines may require pharmacist review before they can be dispatched.

Your medicines should reach you safely

Because we supply medicines and healthcare products, we believe delivery should be treated with the same care as the order itself.

We do not operate a dedicated letterbox-delivery service for medicine orders.

Instead, our delivery model is designed around secure handover and recipient confirmation, helping reduce the risk of parcels being:

  • left unattended
  • misplaced or stolen
  • exposed to rain or extreme temperatures
  • accessed by children or pets

Just like a food delivery, we believe your medicines should reach you safely and directly — not simply be left outside your home.

Please ensure that someone is available to receive your order where required.

However if in exceptional circumstances you need it to be posted through your letterbox if it fits then all liability falls to you as the customer and a note must be left at checkout.

All medicine orders are subject to pharmacist review and stock availability.

If an item is unavailable, we may contact you to discuss:

  • a suitable alternative where clinically appropriate
  • collection at a later time
  • delivery on the next available day
  • or cancellation of the affected item or order

We will never automatically substitute a medicine where professional review or your agreement is required.

Because orders are reviewed before final fulfilment, we can resolve stock or suitability issues before completing the order where possible.

For our local Same-Day Delivery service, medicines will not intentionally be left unattended outside the property.

If delivery cannot be completed safely, the order may be returned to Chrystalls Pharmacy and we will contact you regarding collection or redelivery.

An additional delivery charge may apply where redelivery is required because nobody was available at the delivery address.

For Royal Mail deliveries, Royal Mail’s normal failed-delivery and redelivery procedures will apply.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

Please check your details carefully before placing your order.
If you would like your order delivered to a work address or received by an authorised person, please provide the correct delivery details and any relevant instructions at checkout. The recipient must be available to accept and sign for the delivery where required.

Where an incorrect or incomplete address prevents successful delivery, additional delivery charges may apply before the order can be sent again.

We will always make reasonable efforts to deliver orders as quickly as possible.

However, delivery may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our control, including:

  • severe weather
  • traffic disruption
  • Royal Mail or courier delays
  • unusually high demand
  • pharmacy operational issues

Where possible, we will keep you informed if there is a significant delay.
