Who Is This Product For?
Optrex Allergy Eye Drops are suitable for adults and children who suffer from allergic eye symptoms such as itchy, red, watery or swollen eyes. These symptoms may be caused by allergens such as pollen, dust mites, animal fur or other allergy triggers.
How to Use
Use as directed in the patient leaflet. The usual dose is 1 or 2 drops in each eye 4 times daily. Wash hands before use. Tilt the head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid and carefully place the drop into the eye without touching the eye or eyelid with the bottle tip. Replace the cap after use.
Contact Lens Advice
Soft contact lenses should not be worn while using this medicine. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you wear contact lenses and are unsure whether this product is suitable for you.
Possible Side Effects
Some people may experience temporary stinging or burning after using the drops. Irritation or blurred vision may also occur for a short time after use. Stop using the product and seek medical advice if you experience worsening symptoms, ongoing irritation or signs of an allergic reaction.
Advisory
For use in the eyes only. Do not use if you are allergic to sodium cromoglicate or any of the other ingredients. Do not use after the expiry date. Keep out of the sight and reach of children. If symptoms do not improve or get worse, speak to a doctor or pharmacist.
Storage
Store as directed on the packaging and patient leaflet. Do not use the drops for more than 4 weeks after opening. Dispose of any remaining solution safely after this time.
