Thealoz Duo Gel is a sterile, preservative-free eye gel designed to protect, hydrate and lubricate the surface of the eye. It is indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe dry eye syndrome and may help relieve symptoms such as eye discomfort, stinging, irritation and foreign body sensation.

Who Is This Product For?
Thealoz Duo Gel is suitable for adults and children, although children should have the product administered by a parent, carer or healthcare provider. Based on current knowledge, it may also be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women. It may be useful for people experiencing dry eye symptoms caused by environmental factors such as wind, smoke, pollution, dust, sunny or cold conditions, dry heat, air conditioning, plane journeys, prolonged screen use, or following eye surgery such as refractive or cataract surgery.
How to Use
Apply 1 drop in each eye, 1 to 4 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. As Thealoz Duo Gel is a gel formulation, it is particularly suitable for use in the evening before going to bed.
Wash hands thoroughly before use. Open the sachet, remove one single-use vial, gently shake or tap the vial so the gel moves down, then twist off the top. Apply one drop into the pocket of the lower eyelid while gently pulling the lower lid down and looking upwards. Close the eye gently after application.
Contact Lens Advice
If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using Thealoz Duo Gel. Wait at least 30 minutes after use before putting your lenses back in.
Possible Side Effects
Rare side effects may include mild eye irritation and ocular redness. As this is an eye gel, temporary blurred vision, burning, stinging or a foreign body sensation may occur for a short time after use. Do not drive or use machines until your vision has cleared.
Advisory
For ocular use only. Do not inject or swallow. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Do not touch the tip of the vial with anything, as this may contaminate the product. Each vial is for single use only and should be thrown away immediately after use, even if some gel remains. If symptoms worsen or do not improve, contact a healthcare professional.
Storage
Store between 8°C and 30°C. Do not expose the product to direct sunlight or humidity. Keep unopened single-use vials in their sachet to protect them from light. Once a sachet has been opened, unopened vials can be used for up to one month.
