Wegovy® 0.5mg – Follow-on dose after 0.25mg, used for 4 weeks

Wegovy 0.5mg is a once-weekly injectable treatment used to support weight loss and management in adults with obesity or who are overweight with medical complications. How to Use

Inject once weekly, on the same day each week, with or without meals. Start with 0.25mg and increase as directed by your healthcare provider until reaching a maintenance dose, typically 2.4mg. The injection is administered subcutaneously (under the skin) in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, vomiting, or constipation. Most symptoms improve over time. Rare but serious effects may include pancreatitis or gallbladder issues. Contact a healthcare professional if you experience ongoing discomfort.
