Covonia Chesty Cough Mixture Mentholated test

Covonia Chesty Cough Mixture Mentholated is formulated to alleviate symptoms associated with chesty coughs and sore throats. It contains active ingredients such as levomenthol, squill tincture, and liquorice liquid extract, which work together to help remove phlegm and relieve congestion.

Dosage Instructions:

• Adults, the elderly, and children over 12 years: Take one or two 5ml spoonful’s every 4 hours, as needed.
• Children aged 5 to 12 years: Administer one 5ml spoonful every 4 hours, as needed.
• Children under 5 years: Do not administer unless directed by a doctor.

Ensure the bottle is well-shaken before use. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Precautions:

Avoid using this medicine if you:

• Have any heart-related conditions.
• Are an alcoholic.
• Experience breathing difficulties.
• Have increased pressure in your head.
• Suffer from liver or kidney problems.
• Are allergic to any of the ingredients listed.

Important Information about Ingredients:

• Alcohol Content: Each 5ml dose contains approximately 282mg of ethanol, equivalent to less than 7ml of beer or 3ml of wine. This small amount is unlikely to have noticeable effects but should be considered by those with alcohol-related concerns.
• Sugars: Each 5ml dose contains 1.3g of glucose and 1.3g of sucrose. This is important for individuals with diabetes mellitus. If you have been informed by your doctor of an intolerance to certain sugars, consult them before taking this medicine.
• Preservatives: Contains sodium methyl, ethyl, and propyl parahydroxybenzoates (E215, E219), which may cause allergic reactions, possibly delayed.
