Benylin Chesty Coughs (Non-Drowsy) 150ml

Benylin Chesty Coughs Non-Drowsy is a medication designed to alleviate chesty coughs by loosening mucus (phlegm) in the lungs, making it easier to expel, and easing congestion to facilitate breathing. It contains two active ingredients:

• Guaifenesin: An expectorant that helps thin and loosen mucus in the lungs.
• Levomenthol: A decongestant that helps relieve nasal congestion.

Dosage Instructions:

• Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take two 5 ml spoonfuls four times a day.
• Do not exceed more than 4 doses within 24 hours.
• Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.

Before Using This Medicine:

Do not use if you:

• Are allergic to guaifenesin, levomenthol, or any other ingredients in the product.
• Have a persistent cough lasting more than a few weeks, or a cough accompanied by a lot of mucus, unless advised by a doctor.

Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you:

• Have liver or kidney problems.
• Have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, as this product contains sucrose and glucose.

Possible Side Effects:

While side effects are generally mild, some individuals may experience:

• Allergic reactions, such as skin rashes or itching.
• Stomach discomfort or nausea.

If you experience any severe reactions or if symptoms persist, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Storage Instructions:

• Do not store above 30ºC.
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
