BENYLIN® Chesty Coughs Non-Drowsy works deep down in the chest to help loosen phlegm, so that when you cough you can cough up some of the phlegm up. This helps clear bronchial congestion.

Active Ingredients Guafenesin and Levomenthol
Benylin Chesty Coughs Non-Drowsy is a medication designed to alleviate chesty coughs by loosening mucus (phlegm) in the lungs, making it easier to expel, and easing congestion to facilitate breathing. It contains two active ingredients:
- Guaifenesin: An expectorant that helps thin and loosen mucus in the lungs.
- Levomenthol: A decongestant that helps relieve nasal congestion.
Dosage Instructions:
- Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take two 5 ml spoonfuls four times a day.
- Do not exceed more than 4 doses within 24 hours.
- Not suitable for children under 12 years of age.
Before Using This Medicine:
Do not use if you:
- Are allergic to guaifenesin, levomenthol, or any other ingredients in the product.
- Have a persistent cough lasting more than a few weeks, or a cough accompanied by a lot of mucus, unless advised by a doctor.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
- Have liver or kidney problems.
- Have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, as this product contains sucrose and glucose.
Possible Side Effects:
While side effects are generally mild, some individuals may experience:
- Allergic reactions, such as skin rashes or itching.
- Stomach discomfort or nausea.
If you experience any severe reactions or if symptoms persist, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
Storage Instructions:
- Do not store above 30ºC.
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.
- Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
